Hello World!
Just what the internet needs. Another ding dong Digg clone; but this ones different… okay, it’s no different, except I built it myself with duct tape (PHP) and bailing wire (Drupal).
Anyone who knows me knows that I’m a directory building fool, and that’s all Digg, Reddit and StumbleUpon are, user created web directories, so I guess I was destined to eventually create my own Web2.0 style directory and here it is.
I would like to see webmasters and bloggers add their own content to Tastylinks. I've had enough of the Major Media Outlets and Big Name Blogs hogging the nets. I’ve temporarily turned off email verification so you can register and get started adding your stuff right away.
Any questions, problems or suggestions? Let me know here or leave a comment below.
experienced liberal hostility?
I'm compiling info for a book. I need to hear from people who have experienced Liberal Hostility, either verbal or physical...vandalism, etc. Whether from the conservative T-shirt or bumper sticker you're sporting...or a yard sign. I would like to hear every story, even if you think its minor. You can remain anonymous. I just ask you provide contact info so I can follow up with you. Pass along the link to anyone you know who might have a story. I really appreciate everyone's help. reply to liberal_hatred_book@yahoo.com

Grandparents of America Awaken
I believe my grandchildren will be the first generation in this country to have a lower standard of living than their parents. Since January I have had a daily entry outlining my rationale for this theory and possible solutions.

Fault Lines - Echoes of the Foreign Policy of President George Walker Bush
On March the 17th, 2003, just two days prior to the commencement of the Iraq War, President Bush, in an address to the nation, declared that: “events in Iraq have now reached the final days of decisions”. During his Inaugural Address in 2005, the President made a potentially startling declaration regarding America’s foreign policy. The gathering threats posed by the war on terrorism present profound challenges to the Realist Theory of International Relations in the years ahead.

Weather Channel Founder Attacks Global Warming
John Coleman, the founder of the Weather Channel, has been one of the loudest opponents of the concept of man-made global warming. He recently gave a very powerful speech before the San Diego Chamber of Commerce in which he outlined the real motives of the global warming crowd–to wean the United States off fossil fuels at any means possible....

Oil, Allah, and the Iron Veil
Perhaps colonialism left the region vulnerable for what is happening today. Perhaps globalism has followed too close on the heels of its predecessor, and now it is too simple to equate the two, and spread an anti-Western ideology that festers into hate and extremism. Then, too, there is a yearning for days gone by–for a mythical Islamic State that once existed in the form of the Caliphates of old....

Freemasonry
Freemasonry is the world's largest and most widely established fraternal order. The masons' guilds were originally restricted to stonecutters, but with the completion of the building of the cathedrals in the 17th century, and especially in England during the Reformation, they admitted as members men of wealth or social status.

You don’t have to do much virtual thumbing of Alternet’s many uber-liberal articles to realize that the site was designed by the far Left, for the far Left, and as a vehicle by which to spread and propagate far Left ideology to the masses....

The Age of Enlightenment
The Age of Enlightenment is a term used to describe the trends in thought and letters in Europe and the American colonies during the 18th century prior to the French Revolution. The phrase was frequently employed by writers of the period itself, convinced that they were emerging from centuries of darkness and ignorance into a new age enlightened by reason, science, and a respect for humanity.
